Scratch

The story seems to keep changing, so skits. Is there anyway to tell if the logs were tampered with between now, and the event in question. If so, find out, so we can put this to rest.

But then when I turned around grass had dropped into the cave and had picked up some of the stuff on the ground, and had an iron sword. As another OP he could see me in /vanish. He killed me, and started to party. Now, the logs were tampered with again, or somebody did something on accident. I said "grass you idiot, I was in /vanish and looking for something" BEFORE doint /tp and /kill.
What Grass SHOULD have done as the other responsible mod was hand em over, it was an illegit gain. But he didn't. This is where things get hairy. I was slightly paniced, I was worried that he would craft the dia blocks into armor and such, and they would become untraceable. In hind sight I should have taken it to the forums. But I was pretty worried, so I tried to use /invsee to get them back, but that didn't work. So I had to use /tp and /kill. Had I delayed, he would have crafted the diamonds and a whole mess would have ensued. Now, there is the full story. Everything.

Please explain the following.

1. I called you an x-rayer the night before this happened and you correctly assumed I was talking to you. Why would you think this was any different?

2. Why would I waste time saying x-rayer in PvP?

3. Why would you not use /tell to notify me that you were going to search for the x-rayer. In /vanish. Any person who knows something about PvP; is to return to your point of death to pick up the scraps.

2. I'm not you, that's your problem.
3. Oh, so every time you go into vanish you make sure to /tell all other OPs you are? Doubt it. Also, I didn't know you were there.

1. It is completely relevant. I called you an x-rayer the night before, so you should have clearly known that I was calling you an x-rayer.

I am requesting creative mode to build a new spawn. The one I am building now is made of legit items and looks horrible.

The logs were not tampered with, these are merely excerpts. Both of those statements of a transaction with WafflePeak and the quote "Grass you idiot" are confirmed.

You then go undercover on a mission to "discover what grass meant when he said xrayer" but did not sufficiently explain to Grasslander what you were doing or even ask him to help. Not only did he first claim an X-ray but he is also a moderator. Had you asked him what the issue was, this mess could have been avoided.

Given this evidence, I plan to unban you from the server, without having your former mod powers. (you resigned anyway)

Potentially. However I was also acting on what I knew about grass, he and I played together on another server, Savage Realms, and I know him fairly well... He wouldn't have given them back anyway.

EDIT: I missed the part where you said "Had you asked grass for help this whole mess could have been avoided"
I doubt that. You don't know grasslander like I do.

Now, tell me Rab, why would anyone "tamper" with the server logs? Huh? Do you really think that Skits would just delete that part just because "Hurr durr, Imma delete this part of teh log to show that Rab is guilty, hahahaha"? Skits wouldn't do that, man. And neither would Nerve.

And, dude, Grass's reasoning is very much valid. You keep saying its invalid just because you won't admit your mistake.

My opinion has nothing to do with this fight and will probably be ignored but eh,
I think the mods involved in this fight (the ones choosing sides and being rude to the other) are not fit to be moderators.

It's not really question of who did what anymore, but the fact that they are both being extremely immature in continuing to argue over this. I think it's clear they both sort of see the position of moderator as something you get for not breaking rules, as opposed to being level-headed and reasonable.

I know there are factions and whatnot and you all want to fight for yours, but it's just a game. We should all be friends on the server regardless of alliance or whatnot, especially between people in the moderator position because the group of mods has to constantly rely on teamwork to keep the server in control.

Hrmph, guys, if I had just up an admitted I made a mistake, I probably wouldn't have been unbanned, and many people had the story wrong.

The whole thing is rather trivial, and Skittles had plenty enough proof to provide the evidence against whomever he needed it for.
