This forum is for non-scratch related things. I'll have a mod move this to Show and Tell.  smile

Mine would have to be Cube World 1.5...it's based on Tanner-FBI's project, but I personally think mine is better. (Of course)

I wished it was PPTracks, but the communnity has made it 50 Bits and a bit of Brian's Brain Larger.

Mine is gonna be an OS.  Also.  XD  OSes are made by the best of the best.

It's going to have draggable windows, the resize button, an app store, and other secret stuff.  Right now, my best one is this.

Re: What is your best master piece on Scratch?

I don't see how an OS makes you better, all you have to know is how to properly use all the blocks revolving around the mouse!  tongue  jk, it is an accomplishment. So far, mine is Tanks-4, but by the time I'm through with Scratch, hopefully a very very long time from now, I will have much better things to show.

Re: What is your best master piece on Scratch?

Generation:4001 Gold is my ultimate master-piece, never mind the enhancements in this special edition.

It's the best city builder on scratch, and I've haven't been mistaken yet. It's the largest (can hold, save and load over 11000 tiles) and it's got the most options (over 50 tile types) and the smartest one (with each building changing a factor in it's surrounding areas, so if you build a factory pollution will rise, but parks will lower this).

Generation:4001 Build a beautiful city, with over 50 objects and over 10000 tiles per city! This simulates traffic, pollution, tourism, crime and more!

OMG! People are saying that only the best of the best make OSes. I am working on a massive OS that will have at least 8 apps and many other featurs as well! This will be my best project (release somewhere in the far future).

Re: What is your best master piece on Scratch?

i don't see how an OS can get so popular, you sit on your Windows and think 'wow that's a nice start bar and interface, I'll recreate that' and try to remake it, like someone made a Wii remake which had the home page (from google probably) but the apps were ordinary apps, no shopping channel or weather channel or anything from a Wii, so it was a normal OS with a wii homepage.

Yes it sounds cool to make your own style OS, I just don't see how a project with the same apps, button-layout (or similar layout) can get so popular. It's like minecraft, every time I've played a scratch clone they have the same graphics, game-play mechanics and even the same glitches! don't get me started on mario or kirby...

En finalement, I HATE LOADING SCREENS! fair enough my G:4001 has terrible loading times, but it's actually doing something! Plus you have plenty to read, I hate it when scratchers put in fake loading screens. Fair enough if they lasted 2-3 seconds to give time for certain scripts to stop running (what I did for Rayman 4) but not for the sakes of it!!! You'll wait 30 seconds then the game will still have things to load!!!

Probably North OS. Like everyone is saying it's their OSes  tongue  If not that, maybe Password Strength Calculator, possibly Spikem, and I have a couple of other cool ones too.

+1 I don't really get why OS remakes are so spectacular, there's nothing really special about it. Sure, it shows mastery of the mouse related blocks, with draggable items, but almost anyone can do that.

Re: What is your best master piece on Scratch?

my Entertainment Inc cinema builder used an OS style menu with drop-down menus, dragable toolbars and a scrolling map. Also, the scrolling map could be dragged as well, so each object had to record where the map was AND remember where it was placed in the scrollable world. Now, I think it's cool to take an OS and add a twist like that (because it turned out very similar-looking to Simcity & SC2000) but not just to make an OS itself.

+1 again, I agree the OS idea has potential, but no one is reaching it.

Re: What is your best master piece on Scratch?

My best project would have to be EPNinjaObjective, I spent a whole month working on it and got a reception I think my hard work deserved, but it was removed from the front pages because of graphic vilence, so the Scratch team can't be advertising it, but you can still play it from my page as that was allowed. Why is everyone just showing their OSs?
