It's actually quite useful. You put in your password, and it calculates how long it would take a computer to crack the password.
Discuss.
I think this site is run by hackers. They probably save every password enterd into their site. Then, when they want to hack a site, they try those passwords first before they brute-force their way in. I bet it saves them a ton of time.

Doesn't seem like a hacker to me.

And they probably look for threads like this so they know which website and people to try...

It probably is most likely inaccurate, but it's still fun to play around with

Just out of curiosity, how would they save the passwords?

They would put the passwords in a database that only they could access

Well duh, but you can't exactly do that securely with Javascript

Would you trust a privacy policy written by a hacker?
It is a legal document. They could get sued for breaking it.

Well if you're worried about getting "hacked" then just add a few letters on the end of your password afterwards. It tells you each time without pressing enter or anything, so it would assume your password is the last thing you typed.

I'm sure they're shaking in their boots from the threat of being sued.

but how would they know which website and which user to try to hack into? there's over 340,000,000 websites on the world wide web and over 1,200,000 users on the Scratch website alone.
