Great speech, you deserve to be curator!
Question: If you re-apply, does it ruin your chances to become curator?

No! It probably increases the chance!

I would very much like to be a curator if at all possible. I only have one question, can I nominate my own projects? I have one that I worked very hard on, but no one will look at it...

i would like to be a curator, i've always wanted to let scratchers with awsome projects, but with hardly any views, get on the front page. i like games that have good colors, graphics, etc. i've seen realy good projects by well know scratcher, but i've also seen realy good games from people who hardly have any views. i don't realy choose projects based on popularity, but the element of fun for the scratcher. And that is why i'd like to become a curator.

I would like to be a curator. I have seen some amazing projects with 1 or 2 views. These are what I would feature. I know what it feels like to have un-noticed projects (I have about 70 of them) and I want to help Scratchers in such a position..

Hi! I would like to be a curator. I tend to drift more towards animations, but I also enjoy stragetic games.
Here's a link to one of my favorite animations: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/boaz4/2762242
And here's a link to one of my favorite games:

Please consider my proposal. I would like very much to become a curator.
Thanks!

Hello. Although I am a new scratcher, I have seen many projects already. I would really love this chance to become a curator. There are many amazing projects that are often overlooked. I like games but also have a taste of smooth animation. Music is a must! Some of the best programs have also the best music.
Please think about it. Thanks for listening.

It'd be fun to be a curator. I'd curate a lot of games- great games that don't get many views. I'm not a very famous Scratcher, so I understand what it feels like. But the thing I'd really curate? PLAYS. I make some sometimes and they don't get many views, but they can be really entertaining! I'd try to get Scratch to apperciate plays, and I'd curate stories too because I love to write.
I like lists and choosing things, and my mom works in the education department of a museum, so I go to museums a lot. I don't just want to do this to get popular-i like to be honest, so I'll admit that is a small part of it, but mostly, I want little plays and skits to be admired. Please consider me.

Even though there are many people that are better than me to be in position to be a scratch curator, i would still like to try and see the outcome. I want to be curator, because i have noticed a lot of very good projects that teach fundamental skills being overlooked, and not viewed. The trend i have noticed is all the most loved and most viewed are people that have been popular before, and almost never new scratchers that have something to share. So that's why i want to be curator, i want to share projects that have very ingenious scripting, but that doesn't have a whole lot of views. examples of them are
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/superepic1/2761417
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/pumpkinpi/2739912
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bengames/2745717
I would highly appreciate you guys if you let me be curator(how will i know?)
if i am to be curator, i will chose diff. projects every 2-3 days, so i can let more people have chances. And i will promise to pick variety of projects, platformers, animations, etc.

I can't be bothered re-applying. I did say i wouldn't in my app.

if I was curator here is what I'd do:
I wouldn't curate projects that have already been front paged
I wouldn't curate innappropriate projects
I wouldn't curate my own projects
I would look for projects that look like the scratcher didn't throw together the project in a couple minutes
I would curate a project that looks like a lot of effort was put into it
And I will not curate projects that were copied completely from someone else
Please pick me to be Curator!

I would really love to become a scratch curator because I really enjoy playing on scratch and I would really like to become more involved. Also, I see many amazing projects on scratch that only get a couple views because the person who made them isn't famous and I would really like to help those kinds of people become more well known. So many people have a dream of becoming famous on scratch and I would really like to help people start to have those dreams come true, and this is the best and most effective way I can think of. Lately, I have been seeing that scratch is more than just any old computer game. Many of the people on here have created a bond with everyone else, and I would love to be able to strengthen that bond in the scratch community, by hopefully becoming curator but, if not, by helping scratchers when they need it and giving complements to scratchers who feel sad or are about to quit.
I am really into animation on scratch so, if I were to become a curator, I would curate lots of AMVs and other well animated projects. I also particularly like pretty and interesting art projects, so I may curate a couple of those. I'm not as into games as some scratchers are, though I have favorited a few, so I may stay away from that type of project. I may also curate funny projects. I also would curate a lot of creative stories that hopefully have some animation or pictures to go with them because I love looking at those types of projects and I hope other people would too. The projects that I would curate would have to have fewer than 7 love-its and 70 views, because my goal is to help scratchers that aren't famous to become known, not to help scratchers that are famous become even more so. There are thousands of amazing projects out there that no one has ever seen before, and my goal would be to find those projects and favorite them. Here is an example of a project I might think about curating: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Mistystone/2713644 because, even though it is a goodbye present, I really like the message of I and the art and awesome effects.
There are a couple reasons I believe I may make a good scratch curator. One of them is because I am careful about the projects that I favorite. I have seen some scratchers that favorite many of the projects they see, while I try to favorite only the ones that I really truly like. There is no right or wrong to this, they are just different styles. Another reason is that I try to be helpful to new scratchers or scratchers that have problems with things, and I believe this is a good trait for curators to have. Another reason I may make a good curator is that I don't let my friends win contests that I hold just because they're my friends, and the same would go if I became curator. I would not curate or not curate projects that anyone makes based on how well I know them. I would curate them based on how good they really and truly are.
I hope you see my point and give me the honor of becoming the next scratch curator.

Above wow that must of taken you long !
Hello, I am KrIsMa and I would love to become a curator soon
I believe that curators should never judge projects by only their opinion, say they like pokemon and only curate pokemon. I believe to try my best to pick different projects that are very well constructed but also projects that were good but left in the dark. These projects never got more than 10 views and will never get more. If the project is good, I will curate it to make him happy and not sad on why his project never had many views.
I will also never curate only things from my friends, only things I like, and never ever curate my own projects I will always let projects have an opportunity to see the light and to make the project creator happy! Thank you for reading this, see you soon!

Dear Scratch Team
I would love to be a curator because I love seeing projects that don't get noticed get top loved, E.G When Cyber Ninja got curated, I felt so happy because Andymcgamer tried so hard to be front paged and he managed it! I see amazing projects everyday, like Cyber ninja were the creator worked massively hard on it and It just doesn't get noticed, I HATE THAT!!!! Anyways I'm really into Games and creative story's, I really love seeing people get loads of love its! Here are some projects I would curate! I would only Curate Projects with below 10 love its or 70 views and I promise that, I'm always checking "Newest Projects for interesting looking games! I would curate 1 project a day. I won't curate my friends games!
I hope you please take what I have said into account and give me the honor of making Scratch a awesome place for every one!
Yours sincerely
