What about Sayonara Zetubou Sensei? But for good manga I recommend Diablo or Innocent W, such good horror manga <3 But I Am Here is really cute.
I've read the first volume of 'Sayonara Zetubou Sensei', and honestly, I find the super optimistic girl to be the most messed up-
You're trying to get taller!

I would suggest Naruto (if you have not already seen it, it is one of the most popular), but I don't know what channel it's on, if they're still doing it (not just the manga), and if it's in English.

How old are you? Or just about your age range? Are you a girl or boy?

I am a 16 year old male. I like the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Yu- Gi Oh!, Naruto, and Sonic.
I want something that is not a childish manga, but I want it to be no worse than Naruto when it comes to mature content level.

"Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" which is the highest title for a weapon and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.
Maka & Soul Eater, Black Star & Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls, these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger." - MyAnimeList.com
The art is beautiful and quirky, and it's pretty fun to watch. ^^

I read a wiki article on it, sounds like some sort of supernatural vampire thing. If it is, that is not really my thing.

No, it's not, don't worry. ^^ I can't remember it that well because I saw it about a year ago... but I do remember that I liked it.

Hm.... have you seen Bleach or One Piece? I'm personally not a fan of them, but you might like them. They are targeted towards the same audience that Naruto is targeted towards.
Or, if you are looking for something different from your usual genre, I could recommend some anime that I like.

I don't watch Bleech because my mom is overprotective and I do not want to watch any manga that is mature.
