I don't like how Scratch converts your audio file to mono after importing it. I mean, sure, it saves space, but since it's converting to Flash, it's gonna take up more space anyways. Also, you know how in Minecraft, with stereo sound, you can easily locate where exactly that zombie is coming from? (Or anything else.) I'm making Mine"scratch". I want that feature too.
Feedback/support is highly appreciated. If you don't support but leave constructive criticism in your post I will accept that too

i have a better twist on this
we should be able to set a "balance" for the sprite, i.e. the sprite's sound would be played 100% in the left and 0% in the right

Yes! Surround sound! That would be epic.

Yeah! There can be blocks (in the sound section) to control the balance!
set [left v] surround sound balance to () % change [left v] surround sound balance by () %

I support this balance feature. Stereo has already been said it won't be added by lightnin.

Link me to the forum topic or wherever he said that. I kinda want to know more about that suggestion before me.
Also, most songs are stereo and it would nice to be able to have that feature.
Although, if we had the balance feature, you could go in Audacity and export the left and right channels as separate tracks. Then you could go into Scratch and change the balance of the first track to -100% and set the balance of the second track 100%. This will create the same result.
I just hope Scratch 2.0 runs scripts EXACTLY synchronized with others if you have scripts that are supposed to run at the same time.
