A Guide To Friending

Hi I'm Mintfang and I like to help New Scratchers. This is a guide to help you know when, how, and why to friend someone.

Chapters:
1. Why to friend
2. How to friend
3. Why not to friend

---------------------

Chapter 1: Why To Friend

So you see a person being a good person to you. You should friend them to return the favor.
Note: You don't have to friend every random person who friends you. If someone gives you fan art, it's a good idea to give them some fan art or friend them.

Chapter 2: How To Friend

To friend someone, go to their page by clicking on their username. Then you will see a little link saying: add to friends . Click that, and it will say "_______ will be notified." press okay. They are now on your friends list.

Chapter 3: Why Not To Friend

If you're new, don't friend every popular person you see. It's rude to use people to get popular. The worst thing I've seen on scratch is a person that has 4-6 pages of friends and were only on for maybe 2 days. Also don't friend someone just so you can see when the results to some contest are out. Again, it's very rude.
--------------------

I hope you liked this guide!

Re: A Guide To Friending

This is a useful guide. However there could be a chapter about who to friend and it could be expanded. If you do all of these it may eventually become an ITopic.

I think I covered who to friend, but I like your idea about expanding! Maybe I'll do that...
