Hey everybody!
I have a suggestion for the Pen-Category.
Basically, the colors we can use are based on the "Pen-Color" (=hue) and the "Pen-Shade" (=lightness). What we don't have is saturation, the thing that lets the colors look rather grey or rather shiny. Thats why a lot of colors are not avaible in Scratch.
Here's a little picture to show what I mean:
Scratch itself has NO problems using these colors. The problem is that we can't really access them... The only possibility is to import an object that has the color you want and then pick this color with the following block:
set pen color to [#5F6192]Here we go, we can use a shade of blue thats actually not avaible ^____^ To change the Color and Shade, we have these blocks:
change pen color by () set pen color to () change pen shade by () set pen shade to ()And here's the problem: When you change the pen color by 20 for example, the color should be a grayish purple. But it's not, because the saturation is set back to a standart value. Or in other words: The result is a normal purple, not grayish at all.
change pen saturation by () set pen saturation to ()I know that does only help a few projects, because few people actually use the pen-category. Still, this is my idea. Please don't say no because you won't use it. Say no if you have a good reason to. (And tell me the reason ofc )

I support because I would really like the extra selection of colors.

Wouldn't this take the Scratch Team even more time to finish 2.0? If not, I support.
EDIT: @xJira: Ich sehe du machst ziemlich viele Suggestions. Benutzt du auch Scratch Suggestions Page ?
EDIT2: Translation of Edit (sorry, I forgot it): you are making quite a lot of suggestions. Do you use Scratch Suggestions Page?

Well actually I don't think it would be that difficult... Because scratch can already use EVERY color thats possible. I believe there is a standart value for saturation, but this feature could be added as well.

(Translation: No, I don't)
