Scratch 2.0 is going to need faster servers. After coming up with a list of hardware requirements, we asked Dell if they'd consider donating some servers to the Scratch project. They very graciously replied with a yes!
As a result, we now have 3 shiny new and very fast servers, all set for Scratch 2.0 (which we hope to release by the end of 2012). Thanks very much to Dell for their generous gift!

Commercial advertising as long as it's beneficial to us!
Nah, but in all seriousness,
Thanks, Dell. Maybe now you can dedicate one to those pesky notifications no one does their part in deleting.

Cool! I'm actually. More worked up about how you plan to release 2.0 by the end of 2012. (assuming the world doesn't end)
