This is my idea of smiles in posts so that say, you want one smile to be an icon but you didn't want another one to be an icon, so here's the idea:
If you want a smile to be an icon:
[smile]:)[/smile]
If you don't want a smile to be an icon:
:)
So that is my idea. Hope you support and Scratch On!

Oh.
Smile test:
You can't actually, if you quote, you'll see the code.

First of all, it doesn't work in code.
2nd of all, you put the [i] IN the smiley.

I wouldn't really want to type [smile] and [/smile] just for a quick smiley.

I don't support this, sorry. Quick test:

Actually, a feature like this already exists! When you go to make a new thread, just above the submit button, you'll see a checkbox. If you click the box, then hit submit, all smilies in the thread will look like text. Hope this helps!

What Legobob is suggesting is something where you can make just one smiley be text, not all of them.

:)
EDIT: Works just fine with the [i] tags in the smiley. Even in quotes. I don't support.
