The title is my question.
The way I do it is I click "Quote" on someone's post so it automatically inserts the [ quote ] tags in. Then if I want to quote someone else in the same post, I copy and paste their post and insert the [ quote ] tags manually. (There is space between the brackets and quote so that it won't take it as a tag here.)
Is there an easier way to do this?

No.

Yes. Open each quote in a new tab (when you click quote), then copy-paste them into one post box.

I typically click "quote", copy and paste the resulting contents of the text box (quote tag] text [/quote), click "go back" and click quote on the next one I want. Similar to Molybdenum, except without using tabs.
