Why don't you think an "Undo" button would be nice for when we do?humans do make mistakes but you can always try to minimize them
when you're driving on the road you always need to check to see if its safe. this should be the same for flagging: you need to check to see if its really inappropriate before you flag.
besides if you misflag something its not like the scratch team is going to ban you or come to your house to beat you up, its probably a very common thing. i was told by cheddargirl that they only punish users who abuse flagging, not honest mistakes.
Yes, I understand that the Scratch team does not beat people up for misflagging.
But I think the opportunity of an undo button would make people rescrutinize the project and give the Scratch team a little less work to do.
Have you ever done a math problem incorrectly? Going back and fixing it is one of the greatest ways to learn.

Thanks legobob.
You're welcome and I support what you said above.

What if anyone DID accidentally flag a project? They would be quite stupid.
Think better! How about if someone typed in an explanation and decided to click cancel and they accidentally clicked Flag ? Ha!
Then a pop up would open and they'd have to click flag on that too. Think better! Anyway, I just leave the page instead of pressing cancel on things like that.

i agree that trial-and-error is a good way to learn, but if you flag something badly, chances are you won't realize you weren't supposed to flag that until the scratch team tells you so. therefore, there is no point for an unflag button.
also what makes you think the scratch team is looking for a "little less work to do?" one misflag will probably take 1 minute to rectify. if they have too much work to do, they would hire more people, and i have not heard of any hiring, therefore i conclude they have a manageable workload
my point still stands, its easier just to flag the right stuff. what makes you think this is so hard for people to do?

For the argument going on about the stupidity of accidentally flagging something:
You should probably think about it before you flag it, instead of just the instinctual "omginappropro, imflagging". And if you somehow accidentally flag it, the Scratch Team will probably just dismiss it.
But like I said earlier, that happens so rarely, it's not even really worth fixing.
