Reporting?
I believe reporting isn't just for if a post is inappropriate but you can request to have a topic closed or moved too. That's probably why they have a text box when you report a post to type in why they're reporting (Like projects), and why you can report your own posts.
So could you just give me an example of what a user might type in the Report box to ask for a topic to be closed or moved and tell me if everything I said above is true?

Anyway, what I normally write to get a topic closed is:

Hmm, I usually say something quick like "should be in XXX" or "close this thread".

^Well, any of the above examples are good examples of reporting stuff that needs to be closed or moved. So long as it's polite, short, and clear to understand, it's fine.
