I am implementing scratch in my 8th grade classroom, and the thing I am having the hardest time with is how the students will share their projects with me. Trying to use galleries etc, but no matter what I tag my test projects with, the search cannot find them! Help! Is there a users guide to the website somewhere?

Welcome to scratch! Also, can you please explain your problem a bit better please?

They can give you a link to their project.

Hi Lisa!
The search function on Scratch is a customized Google search engine, so projects don't always show up right away (it can take days, hour, weeks, or even months for Google to index them). It might be easier to add the students to your friend list and set permissions on the gallery so only the students can add projects to your gallery if you want to keep tabs on their creations.
Since you're a teacher, you might want to check out ScratchED, which is a Scratch website for teachers; you might find better ideas and alternatives for implementing Scratch into classroom settings there.
