Either Serebii or Smogon.
Smogon is the dedicated competitive website. Serebii is still competitive but its a lot more general too (With articles about the anime etc.)
But I would say the MOST official pokemon website would be Nintendo.com, funnily enough 

@norberts: People can win large amounts of money playing Pokemon. You wouldnt be saying it was for 10 year olds if you were one of the people who dont even need to go to work because they win so much
