Trouble when opening Scratch¬.HELP!

When i open scratch from the shortcut and normal. I can only see half the screen, eg. half the background and some of the bottom is cut off what do i do?!!?!??!?!?!??!?!?
Plz help¬!!!¬¬!¬!¬¬LJM

Lower screen resolutions cause some of the scratch screen to be cut off so I imagine this is what is causing it. Either wait for scratch 1.4 to be released (later this month) or increase your screen resolution.
