Ladies and gentlemen, here's the working list of PTSes:

- PTS: Rainbow
- PTS: Mysterious
- PTS: Clockwork
- PTS Element Series: Water
- PTS Element Series: Fire
- PTS Element Series: Earth
- PTS Element Series: Wind

What do you think?

P.S. I will need at least 2 more ideas before the contest can properly close.

Maybe both portal and MC? I'm more interested in portal right now, but MC would be ok too.

Re: Themed versions of Scratch!

I created a first version of the theme patch. Currently it is bundled with my web patcher.
You can install the bare minimum version here, or you can get a cleaner looking version by installing the four patches below. (Make sure you install them in order!)
1 My web patcher
2 Dreamod's .block importer
3 My web extension for patch #2
4 My menubar organizer

Eventually this will be it's own patch.

How to use it: Simply drop a skin folder / theme folder into your Scratch folder, or the folder with the .image file you use, and then go to File>Change Theme (or Theme>Change Theme if you installed the cleaner version) and then type the folder's name. If the nature theme is called "Nature," then you would enter the word "Nature" in the prompt.

All of the above patches and more can be found on escratch.org/patch.

To ComputerProgrammer - Can I put the complete version of the nature theme on escratch.org/patch when we are done?

I take NO credit whatsoever for dreamod's .block creator and importer patch. (Patch #2)

Yes, but it was originally going to be released as an image file, and there are some restrictions of releasing it any other way: When some things are changed graphically in the ScratchSkin, sometimes the measurements in Scratch go wonky, and stuff ends up looking very weird.

For example, the top of the hat block found in the OP is 3 times larger than the original, which made the text of the hat blocks go off the blocks themselves. So do realize that some variables, values, etc. in the source code must be altered so that the graphic changes fit properly, and these measurements will vary greatly from theme to theme.

On a side note, I did not expect a contest to run this long... 3 more ideas before I can close!

Sounds like a challenge to me! Maybe we could add a file to the theme folder, "overrides.ini" or something that specifies how to load and render certain parts of the skin, then when you load the theme with my patch, it would check that file first before installing the theme.

I think we might be setting a world record here for longest delay in a contest!  tongue

Any ideas for the contest would be greatly appreciated and would help make PTS a better place.  smile  (Hmm...)

Re: Themed versions of Scratch!

Meeeeee!
Wow. I look back thinking, oh, the contest is over, and then it's been extended twenty times. Ideas..........  I really like the dirt, worms, ants, etc idea. Maybe we could add a localization so that it's mere gardeners terms? (bad idea alert) you know, um... yeah. Don't say I didn't warn you. Anyway, I like the idea of the patch, but I also agree that we're kinda getting off topic. And the participation?  What can I say. School, I guess. the company I'm in's participation went from 100% to -3, so... Sorry. That's all. I've been typing mostly out of boredom right now, so I'll spare you any more random uselessness.

You just have to manipulate the jimber into the right conjunction with the first tacklette. Then, manifestate the other tacklette to circumlocute the tinder. Wait, what were we talking about again?

The mod is purely aesthetic changes. There is no change to the program, so they don't have to remove anything.

This is not a mod it is a ScratchSkin Folder

Another bad idea alert.

With my luck the contest'll have ended. Well, there's my idea.

Oh, and I vote for minecraft.
