What Is OS

I've seen people making different OS projects. But I don't know what OS means so will you please help me.

"OS" = "Operating System".

"Operating System" = (eg. Windows, Mac, Linux, and sometimes users attempt to create new ones from scratch with Scratch.

One famous OS is Bit OS.

First time since becoming a Scratcher that I've been hit by the 60 second rule.
