Apple Special Event: September 12th

Breaking news! Apple has just announced an event at their usual Yerba Buena location in San Fransisco. The invitation email includes the picture shown above, but if you notice, the 1 and 2's shadow make a 5. Coincidence? Nope. So what does this mean? Could be an iPhone 5 or could be five things: iPhone 5, iPad mini, Shuffle, Nano and new iPod touch.

Predictions
stevetheipad - iPhone 5 and iPod refresh
NeilWest - iPad mini, iPhone 5 and iPod Chrome
Evo12 - iPhone 5, iPad mini and iPod Touch 5
jji7skyline - iPhone 5, iPad mini, iPod Touch 5, Mac Mini and iMac

Anyway - I predict this tablet which is between the size of an iPad and an iPod - also maybe the iPhone 5 and iPod Chromes brought back - but in that new mini Shuffle style.

How I felt before 2.0 was announced - R.I.P 1.4.

The numbers mean nothing. The announcement is that Apple is shutting down because they can't sell anything anymore with Steve Jobs gone. (JK)

For real, I'll guess that they are announcing the iPhone 5, The Newer iPad (aka iPad 5, skipping #4), an iPod Touch running the 4S hardware, and discontinuing all other non-Mac products.

Apple has just had the highest revenue ever. Does that tell you anything?

Also, you can't make iOS apps without a Mac, so even if Apple were concentrating totally on iProducts, which they are not, they would still sell Macs.
