Retro Games!

Discuss retro consoles and games here, such as NES, Genesis, Game Boy, etc. The rule here is that the console has to be at least TEN YEARS OLD to count as a retro console.

gamecube is not retro lol
also the gameboy advance would be 10 now, and I dont consider that retro either

oh well, old consoles are awesome, especially the snes. that has an amazing game library

Yeah, even though Gamecube IS over ten years old, it still doesn't count as "retro" in my eyes, not yet. Gamecube is actually quite modern, if you ask me.

My favorite Nintendo console (and possibly favorite out of all) has to be the Super Nintendo. Mainly because it has awesome games, and I just live for 16 bit graphics.  tongue

While I do only have one legit retro console (N64), I've played games from the original Game boy, SNES, NES, And stuff like that. Thank you emulators and Virtual Console service.


If I could list my favorite retro games by system:

NES - Super Mario Bros. 3
Genesis - Sonic The Hedgehog 3
SNES - Super Metroid
N64 - Ocarina of Time
Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure
GC -  Either Metroid Prime or Resident Evil 4.

The retro systems that I own are:

SNES
Nintendo 64
Game Boy Color

That's actually all, believe it or not.  tongue  But I can get an NES and a Genesis at a flea market for just $60.

These were my favorites

If you like shooter and adventure games: Space Adventures Underwater Adventures These are the two professional scratch games made by me, hope you enjoy them.
