SCIENCE!

To continue dropping the science, maybe the theories explaining Slendy's existence (Core Theory, Quantum Theory, etc.) exist outside theories explaining our universe. So Slendy not only ≠ the Standard Model, but also physics equations.

I do not understand quantum mechanics AT ALL.

Um yeah, I'm not good with calculus, but who's measuring his volume when he changes his size?

Re: Slenderman Discussion Thread

Just real quick, if we're going to do more math with Slendy, we might as well use a mathematical symbol to represent him. How about Slendy's very own Operator Symbol:
(X)

Re: Slenderman Discussion Thread

Actually, NeilWest's story gave me an idea for a discussion point: Core Theory vs Quantum Theory.

Core Theory: Slenderman is a Tulpa who was created by our thoughts.

Quantum Theory: Slenderman is a physical being that exists in a plane of existence beyond our own, theorized by many to be the fourth spatial dimension of time.

Re: Slenderman Discussion Thread

If the core theory is the reason of Slender's existance, so when Slenderman eats you, it's really a cover-up for the drugger (who forces you to believe that this thought exists) who kills you (or eats you if we're talking about a cannibal).

The entire Core Theory isn't just the whole "there was a single person behind it" thing, as your story said. The mainstream Core Theory says that we all created him, a task impossible for one man alone to do. A Tulpa is actually a being from Tibetan legend materialized from sheer discipline alone. The Core Theory states that the Photoshop contest on SomethingAwful spread the story around, and our fears made him real. Your story is a nice twist on it, though.

Speaking of fear, the two different theories (Core and Quantum) can also both be applied to the Fear Mythos. And on another completely different topic, there seems to be a new monster named The Tall Gentleman. Unlike Slendy's habit of targeting children, The Tall Gentleman stalks the elderly. There is only one picture I can find of The Tall Gentleman:

I drew him and didn't get eaten! I drew him saying, "I WANT POPCORN!" if you want to see it, look at One Boring Picture (or so I say) on my alt account, NOT_SLENDERMAN_. (sorry, just advertising)
EDIT: what's that red-orange part of your profile that you have?
