Depends on the situation.
If you did something that wasn't that bad, I think that bans expire after a few days. But if you did something major, you have to contact them to get unbanned.

Why do you want to know? I'm guessing that your original account got banned.

Well, in that case, I'm reporting you to the Scratch Team as you're not supposed to use other accounts to get around a ban.

My parents won't want me to email them...I'll have to wait..

Tell your parents that Scratch is important to you and why you SHOULD email them. Most parents would understand.

Why don't your parents want you to email them?

The Scratch Team needs to hear from you by email before the block will be lifted.  That's to make sure that you have a good understanding of what you did that lead to the block so that it won't happen again.
