Re: Pokemon EV training thread

Im really big on this.

Ive spent hours trying to find the right nature. I've got a Rampardos with 31 ATK IV and maximum ATK ev's. That means it has the highest ATK stat possible in the game! I've EV trained at least 30 pokemon, forget what they are cause it was years ago, but still...

Re: Pokemon EV training thread

I am a hardcore EV trainer. I've lost count of how many pokemon I have EV trained, but I think it was around 100+. I don't know why I'm so fast and good at it...

Re: Pokemon EV training thread

I just checked my boxes on Emerald Version, and I found my max Sp. Atk and Speed IVs and all Sp. Atk and Speed EVs Alakazam. At Lv. 100 it will have 405 Sp. Atk. Right now it is lv. 83.

Re: Pokemon EV training thread

I EV train sometimes. Other times, I use the deathikarp, the ultimate pokemon. A Lv 100 shiny magikarp with max IVs and EVs, Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Shadow Force and Judgement, along with the wonder guard ability. I don't use deathikarp in competitive play though, since it isn't possibly legit, only for training my Pokemanz. I'm more about strategy than strength, though.

lol why would you cheat

deathikarp's moveset isn't even good. its so unbalanced with low type coverage. it lacks any status moves at all.

id say if you're going to cheat it should have dragon dance and earthquake instead of roar and shadow force, and maybe recover or thunder wave instead of judgment

I definitely wouldn't have roar of time because frankly all hyper beam based moves suck, no offense. I'd keep the rend, tho. Btw, do you guys prefer OU or ubers?

I never really cheat or hack, but if you want a better strategy you should google smogon or serebii. They're great websites for competitve pokemon players.  smile
