I hate these toothpaste commercials where they say how great the toothpaste is and all.

Also I find this Toyota commercial to be very offensive to me because I don't want to have to look at such a things on the TV.

I also hate the "go compare" English commercial, the guy singing in it is so annoying.

Right now, this thread is mostly focused on negative aspects of commercials, which is something we like to discourage. It's not conductive to the purpose of the RaP forum.

However, negative aspects of media can be a learning experience of sorts. We're willing to let this topic stay open on the condition that discussion isn't just complaining about those negative aspects, but discussing what about them misses the mark and how they could be improved.

For now we'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how it progresses; if it keeps to more constructive criticism, then it can stay open. smile

Both of the presidential candidates spend money on advertise rather than spend it on "something worthwhile" because they need to be president before they have the power to do that something worth while. Advertising is just something you need to live with, however it could be improved.
