I have no idea how to get popular! Any suggestions? If you want you can tell me how I can improve my projects. (to see how well I am at doing projects click on my name)

Hi 15matwal! Becoming "famous" doesn't really matter, in my opinion. Scratch is about learning how to program, and having fun while you're at it.
If you do wish to become more well known, you should advertise some of your projects in the Show and Tell forum. Also, linking in your signature is a big help too.
I saw you reviewed some Scratch projects. Did you contact the creators and tell them something like "I reviewed their project ___. Would you like to check it out? (link to project)"

It does matter to me. I know the reason Scratch was created, but the reson I use Scratch is because I'm not allowed to have an account on yoyo games, youtube or anything! Scratch is my way of sharing with the world, and I cannot do that without being known.
Thanks for advice though!

But if you hadn't read what I said above what you posted, If I am not well known/recieved than I would have no way of sharing the stuff I believe in unless I would be face to face with people.

Sorry everyone. I was up at like 11 o' clock doing this. I was a bit grumpy that my projects were infamous and stuff. I guess being popular isn't everything.

Please don't necropost. Necroposting is bringing up a very old topic.

The way you become famous is that you keep on scratchin' and improving your skill. You'll also have to be very active on the forums and elsewhere. From there, you friend scratcher and they friend you. Then if one of your friends becomes a curator, you're project will probably get curated! That is close to what happened to me.
Anyway, I hope that I helped!

infamous means famous for doing bad things.

One does not simply become popular.

Er, not really. It is kinda, but Necroposting is considered doing so on a topic 6 MONTHS OR OLDER.

necroporting = bumping up irrelevant topics from a while ago
there is no concrete time limit

I'm not saying i'm popular or anything, but i did just recently get a whole lot of views. And i wasn't even trying! But anyway, here's what you do. Make a whole bunch of accounts.
Use only about 2. But make sure to post on all of them. The one you use least most is the one that will become famous. If you post projects less often, people will begin to notice you, and cherish every moment your on. Which means allot more views and comments on your projects. Also, you should make yourself exclusive. Which means, only friend people you know in real, or famous. Soon, people will ASK you to friend them! And lastly, have a routine. Only post projects say every day, or every week or month. And you need to have an "on" time. Where your only on to comment and chat for a certain amount of time. I post projects everyday at midnight, and i'm on 11:00am-12:00pm. And that's basically how u do it. Oh! and a bonus point: put on lots of popular tags. Even if the project is'nt about it. Use tags like, Animation, art, mario, minecraft, warriors, cats, dragons, Ya know. All that popular stuff everybody's talking about. And also rember: FRIEND POPULAR PEOPLE! That's about it. Thx for reading!

So to sum it up,
1) Make loads of accounts, but use just two and forget about the rest
2) The one you use least will be more popular than the one you use most
3) The more projects you post the less famous you get, since you'll get noticed more by not uploading as many projects
4) You can get famous by uploading just one project per month
5) Add spam tags about anything and everything
6) Now you're famous
...Seems legit
