How about we have to fight some giant spiders and snakes from Guriand, and it stole the Sarn Gul and is using it against us?

After this, Palandir and Shade start to fight outside the school.  Palandir throws the Sarn Gul into the air, and sends a bolt of light through it, which narrowly misses Shade.

Suddenly, a grayish net appears out of nowhere, trapping them both.  While trapped, Palandir dimly sees a giant snake rush over them and grab the Sarn Gul (which was still in mid-air).

"What in the nine h***s?!" Shade exclaims. "God, can't two Jr. Staff just have a little duel?" He asks nobody in particular.

Actually, it was a spider and a snake.  There will be several more of each.

Sling try's to blast the snake away with some of my sound magic.

(tookewl: The snake and spider are gone, try to help us get out)

Palandir crawls to the edge, and finds a way out from under the web.  Shade is still trapped, however.
He says to Sling, "Run and get one of the school authorities...we need some help here!"

Palandir says, "Well, you never know with giant creatures."  He looks around, and says while running into the woods, "I think I know where they went.  This way!"

Sling follows them in a  distance so they don't notice him.
