This probably fits in Reading and Playing.
Well, summer is over. Back to school it is. Luckily, we can still discuss what we did over this summer!
I will start. I did plenty this season, including:
Joined a pool club and went there every day in June. It is called Lifetime, which is a chain of gyms all around the U.S. It is so cool!
Went to sleepaway camp. I went to a program called CTY. It was made by Johns Hopkins University. The program is international! I went to one of many locations and went there for three weeks. I took a writing course and made lots of friends from all different places in the world. I did this for most of July.
Went to the Intrepid Museum. The Intrepid Museum is a museum built inside a real aircraft carrier. There are real weapons that you can touch, planes that once soared the skies, and you can visit the rooms where the soldiers worked. I even saw the space shuttle called the Enterprise. It was amazing to see something that once went into space.
Visited my aunt's farm. It was really fun. I learned how to cook fancy meals out of vegetables you grow from the garden. My aunt also had 3 dogs that are a breed called Vizslas. They were very nice and fun to play with. I also went hiking in the woods my aunt owned and I relaxed in her pool.
I had a very busy summer. I'm excited to read what all of you post!
