OMG that was an amazing episode. But Amy tripped out wierd. BTW, my fave line:
Doctor: Making souffles, against the Darleks? Where do you get the eggs?
Darlek: This conversation is irrelevent.
Has anyone seen the preview for the next episode, DINOSAURS WITH EGYPTIANS WITH 50s DETECTIVES ON A SPACESHIP? This is Doctor Who after all.
Dinosawrs
Haha, that was great but I'm going to wait till Wicki has seen it till I ruin it for everyone

That was utterly utterly brilliant! One of my favourite episodes ever!

Is it just me or did Amy look kind of creepy
Anyway
I liked the "Where do you get the milk for souffle??"
My fave line.
THIS CONVERSATION IS IRRELEVENT.
Am I safe to say that the ending nearly made me cry (with Oswin and the Dalek thing and all. I really liked Oswin after all).

To cheer me up after that episode, I played Daft Punk's song "Human After All"
What irony!

New episode, "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship". It was epic - but I loved the robots the best:
"You need to go on the naughty step!"

It's kinda hard not to share views
It's not his fault you're viewing a spoiler infested thread before a new episode has premiered where you live

Filch and Arthur did GREAT acting like they weren't wizards!
And the dinosaurs were awesome.
And the innuendos . . .

Did I give some sort of spoiler other than then title (which was obvious from last week's preview) and about some hilarious robots voiced by Robert Webb and some other guy?

No but the guy above was like 'DON'T SPOIL IT!!!!!!!!!! BURN THE WITCH!?!?!?'
um yeah
So titles and robots are evil spoilers

Okay, S7 is amazing. A Town Called Mercy is probably one of my favorite episodes of all time.

I have a theory. I don't think Oswin is a Dalek. I think she's "speaking through" the Dalek. If she had been the Dalek, how would have she controlled all that stuff? I don't actually think she's even on the Asylum.

I can't wait for the weeping angels to return! But that episode is so sad also.

I think I'll rate S7 so far:
1. A Town Called Mercy
2. Asylum of the Daleks
3. Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
4. The Power of Three

Is there any way to get into Doctor Who without watching through all 788 episodes— and growing? Maybe a text version?

The Classic episodes aren't required to understand.
Go on Netflix and find "Series 1" which has Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. It's the beginning of the reboot and re-introduces concepts of the show.
If you're REALLY lazy, start at "Series 5" on Netflix and that and Series 6, and go back to Series 1-4 in your free time.
(Series = Reboot, Seasons = Classic Show)

Yeah, I never saw the classic seasons (though I want to)
The reboot begins with Rose's "narration" so it's good for if you're new to the show, but if you want to start more recently you can usually pick up pretty quickly

It's not a reboot.
