Yeah, pony OCs are really badly done.

Not even kidding. Animal parts should just be kept away from OCs, keep it a pony, keep it normal but keep it unique, don't use stupid amounts of abnormal colours and overall just keep it quite plain, make it stand out in a way which you would if you actually lived in Ponyville as a pony, have a fancy dress and what-not.

I wrote a short fanfic (seriously).

Twilight and Rainbow Dash would packing for a journey to visit Twilight's mother, who lived far east of Ponyville. Spike came and asked if he could come, but Twilight said no - for the route they were taking went over a large, boiling hot volcano - and Spike felt uncomfortable when he was hot.

The duo said their goodbyes and headed off along the path. Little did anyone know, that Spike stowed away. Twilight was questioning why her luggage was heavier than before, but Rainbow Dash said that she was just a little tired, and that they should take a rest.

They lag the unusually heavy bag on the floor, and heard a 'humph'. Twilight opened the bag and saw Spike curled around, awkwardly smiling. There was no point turning back, they were past halfway through the journey. And so, they came to the volcano. Rainbow Dash flew over the unstable bridge, and Twilight had to catch up.

Spike just strolled on behind them, tired and sweaty. Then he heard a growl and a fiery monster jumped out of nowhere separated Spike and the other two. The monster breathed out a huge ball of fire, which burnt the bridge in half, causing the monster to fall to it's doom. Spike quickly lunged back to the entrance.

Rainbow flew to the exit, accidentally forgetting Twilight, who fell into the lava sea. Princess Celestia told the two not to worry, for it was no-one's fault.

I will make a youtube playlist filled with pony songs. When the playlist is played in order, it will start with non-pony songs, then go to chiptunes, then to songs with lyrics but not discernible as pony (Like "Luna" and "Loyalty"), and then PONY SONGS!

Then, I will "forget" that jack headphones don't work with OS X Lion and play the playlist.
