Precise Font Sizes

You maybe or maybe not know I'm remaking Minecraft in Scratch. Most likely, you don't.

Anyways, I have a Minecraft font. And I want to sort of make my own menu option using the same texture and everything. The only problem is, I can't fit the words on the button like in Minecraft. The font's too big, even at lowest font size. And as you may have noticed, resizing things in Scratch is a little...off. And I don't want buttons to look deformed. I don't want anything deformed. And I wanna fit my text the way they're supposed to be without using any external image editing software.

That's why we need (well, I need, at least) precise font sizing. Sort of like in Paint or Word (and I think Photoshop too). You can TYPE IN the font size (and also have a dropdown menu), so you can get it exactly the size you want (and even half-points, like 4.5).

For me, at least, this would be REALLY HELPFUL.

EDIT: The only workaround that I'm using is to actually export every single glyph (character) in the font to a bitmap image. Then I import every character I want, one at a time (sort of like the Letters folder in Scratch's example Costumes folder), and place the characters next to each other. But the process of actually extracting each glyph from the font is VERY time consuming, and I'd rather just be able to type it in with an actual font than having to import every character image in one by one.

Re: Precise Font Sizes

You can make the text on Gimp, then export as a gif and import into Scratch.

Re: Precise Font Sizes

Am I allowed to bump this?
I don't really know much about the rules of bumping a post.

EDIT: Oh! Lol. I forgot THIS would bump it.

Yes, you're allowed to bump it as long as the topic is on the second page or lower.

Re: Precise Font Sizes

Sorry, this is the wrong time to bump (edit: and double post), but this has gotten some support already and I want it to get noticed, because in my opinion and others' opinions this will be a useful feature in Scratch 2.0. At least for me it will.
