If you compress sound and images when you upload something, will it decompress when it's downloaded by someone? If you know the answer, please tell me!

A mod removed my reply... Does anyone even remember what I said that was so offensive?

Check your messages, they may have sent you one
Also, since the compression for both images and sounds used by Scratch is lossy, that is, it loses information during compression, so it cannot gain them back. Therefore, the compression is one-way. Unlike zip compression.
