There's this guy who I know is a brony and this other guy I mentioned before who follows memes.

There's also this mystery person. Last year, we had to illustrate a poem for reading class (it was pretty dark) and one person drew a near-perfect picture of Pinkie Pie. The curls on the mane and tail were almost perfect and basically the only difference was there was no cutie mark. Now that I think about it it was probably a joke and he/she probably just referenced from the computer, but I still think it was neat.

Something like that happened to me. The school computers have Minecraft (the cracked one). One day I opened it, and someone had put the username "Fluttershy".

All major fandoms have cases like that. Some people have a tendency to be rather overzealous, others are not. No point in making generalizations for an entire group of fans based on the reaction of a few extreme fans.
