When you update the 2.0 prototype, does it save to scratch_new.swf?
(asking because I know how to use whatever java thing to see the prototype)

You aren't supposed to use that.
And yes.

Can there be private massaging?, I know there's a problem about people saying inappropriate things, but the scratch moderators should be able to see it too

No. There never will be. Could you imagine the 24/7 mod staff needed? And the rate of messages?

Will 1.4 still be able to upload, or will I have to use Modshare or something?
P.S Sorry if this has already been answered, I didn't feel like looking through 20+ pages just to see if this was a duplicate.
P.S.S Is it P.P.S, or is it P.S.S?
P.S.S.S 25th post!

@MrFlash67 You can import 1.4 projects into 2.0 and upload them from there.
But then can I export them back to 1.4? I kind of prefer the interface of 1.4, from the photos that I saw.

Can we somehow have the new blocks for 2.0 put into Scratch 1.4? I looked at the preview, and I prefer the current format. It would be hard to get used to the new one in Scratch 2.0.

Yes. You can open projects from older versions of Scratch. You might need to change a few blocks here and there, but it's not too hard. And certainly not as hard as restarting.

I thought that it was uploading from 1.4, but I must of read too quickly. Ah well, importing and pressing a button on a silly interface is better than using a silly interface for everything. (Do I get the 180?) (Yes, I do. Fourth time ever.)

Um, this isn't so much about Scratch 2.0 (sorry!). But I was wondering how to make your own forum...how do you do it? I've been looking for a "make a forum" button or something of the sort but can't find one. Are we even allowed to make a forum? I'm terribly confused- if someone could please help I'd be very grateful!

PS: It's PPS (Post Script, Post Post Script).

Thanks! Woot! We can be free from the curse of silly interfaces! Let 2.1 use the 1.4 interface with 2.0 functions!

yes.
Does this mean that we can share our projects on other sites such as newgrounds?

How do I import music from iTunes?
I'm not sure how to do this on Windows, but here's how to on any Mac. If there's an update available, get the latest version of iTunes. I can't guarantee that this will work with earlier versions. Open up iTunes. Change the organization style to "list" (the first option) so that each song is listed separately. Right-click (or whatever the equivalent of your mouse is) the target song, and click "Show in Finder". It should show up in a Finder window, selected. Right-click it and duplicate it. Then put it somewhere else, preferably the Desktop. Go to Scratch, 1.4 or 2.0, and go to a sprite, or the stage. Open up the "sounds" tab, and click "import" navigate to the desktop and select the song you just put there.
Viola.

This is about 2.0, a version of Scratch which has not been released. For any other questions, post a separate topic. Thanks!
