As seen in the recent posting of Scratch Admin's P.O.V. of the Scratch website - I saw something on a userpage that admins can alter called Karma Ratings.
Sorry for being nosy but I am curious as to what these things do and what they affect and stuff.

I think it has something to do with productivity of a user, but I'm not sure.
Yes I would imagine but I'd like to get a detailed explanation

I doubt it does much if anything.
It's true and lots of the admin features I've been playing around with seem pretty useless.

I'm gonna have a go through ScratchR to see if i can find anything to do with karma.

I also wonder what Shariables are.
Anyway, as you can see, there are 3 karma ratings: Projects, galleries, and comments. Karma literally means "The sum of a person's actions", meaning that jvvg is correct.
I clicked "make new shareable" and it wants me to input it's name and a value for it. It then allows me to edit the value. It would seem like a variable but I'm not sure.

I don't see why it was necessary to make a new sentence for almost every word in the topic title.
