I went to run it this morning but got an error message
An error was encountered
Error: Unable to empty search index match table.
so we have to do some digging around. It's probably something simple like a permissions problem but it's going to have to wait until our DB administrator can take a look at it

maybe the current table is too big(mysql times out whilst trying to delete it).

Maybe. It might have to be deleted from PhpMyAdmin.

Index rebuilt! It took over 3.5 hours...hopefully we won't have to do that again anytime soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

On my forums, it only takes about a minute to rebuild.
