But I checked my phpinfo page, and it seems memcached is installed and linked to my PHP just fine.

Did you set the memcached server to localhost in bootstrap.php?

I was asking, because I had googled this before and found the zip and used the dll, but it hadn't worked. Anyway, I'm doing it on my Mac now.

You shouldn't have deleted any lines...

The Scratch Team have their Recaptcha private key on the bootstrap file... might want to get rid of that...

I guess I was just lucky then. 
My setup works perfectly, and I just followed the guide.

Maybe something to do with the SQL database? Jvvg, could you export your database so I can try it on mine? Make sure you remove passwords etc.

jvvg, when you DO make set up the server where we could go on, will we be able to be admin?

Are you sure he will make his ScratchR site public? I just got an email from the ST saying that to make it publicly visible, all instances of the Scratch logo, Scratch cat and Gobo must be removed, which would be quite a daunting task

I think you could probably automate that task.

Possible. Also a lot of the links direct to the Scratch site, but that could be automated as well. Maybe that's what Jvvg will do
