For some reason, the [flag] button isn't showing up next to the "[+][flag]" and "waffles" tags. Why?

That makes sense, but I flagged multiple waffles.

I thought that too
Imagine a flag on a waffle.

Let's be honest, here.
I know you might think that the Waffles tags are annoying, but how are they wrong? People can tag what they want. If they want to give into a trend, just let them. Besides, the Scratch Team has to personally view each and every tag, and I don't think they care much about the trend either. So flagging a harmless trend probably doesn't make them happy.

Waffles is a spam tag, and should be flagged. Unfortunately, there does seem to be a glitch with not being able to flag a single tag more than X times. (I don't know what X is.)

Well isn't that interesting.
Btw, X is a number that I don't know (like in math, X is a variable).

I think Scimonster knows what a variable is.
I believe his point was that he doesn't know what the variable is equal to, not that he doesn't know what a variable is.
And Scimonster, I suggest you look at my posts on the link that Molybdenum provided, because I would disagree that such tags should be spam. They don't violate the Community Guidelines at all, and they are harmless.

Yeah, i know what a variable is. I don't know the value though.
I looked at your posts, and i agreed that these tags are considered spam.

IMHO, if a project is about waffles, don't flag it. Otherwise, flag it. However, they don't want random users flagging random tags.

I knew that... I flag waffles on things that don't have to do with waffles, etc. But the flag button doesn't show up on some tags anymore.

It really does and because it is still an imporant issue that was not a necropost!

It is a necropost, but it's not a bad necropost because the topic is still relevant.
Anyways, I still don't think you should go around flagging trends.
