I don't think they are going to have another mod election soon, they basically do it when they are being overwhelmed with spam or need more mods.

I have no idea how flags and reports are currently being handled (the current moderators might be handling them in good speed, I don't know) in terms of speed right now, but it seems the current moderators aren't very active at all.

The last elections were in April, so checkin actually should have been a few days ago...

You haven't checked in yet, Sci? Lightnin might be a bit busy with the welcoming committee and we still haven't started setting up the next design studio, so it may be a little while before the check up. I do suspect at least one more moderator will be elected, but if you're going to go through the whole election process, you might as well hire two.
