Suggestion 2 - Private projects. You have that now...just don't share it to the website.
but projects dont run the same online as they do when offline. sometimes its necessary to test a project using flash's turbo mode which would be impossible to do without sharing it.
I agree with Wes64.
I haven't actually viewed it yet, but apparently you can test your projects in the flash player without uploading thanks to 777w's project. Anyway, even if you do upload on a new account you just created to check something, it will get about 4 views at the most, especially if you name it 'game' or 'my project.' I don't support that idea.
However, I do support getting messages if you are quoted, that would really help instead of checking all the recently posted on topics to see if you've been replied too.
With editing main site messages, I think you should be able to within the first few minutes of you posting the comment, to fix any spelling mistakes etc. You should also be able to delete than comment within that 5 minutes too.

Youtube play bar
This is was I meant.
Thanks...I'm pretty familiar with Youtube as I often go there looking for information on how to do stuff
However, the issue remains that many projects don't have a fixed length of time that they will run, since they are interactive, or maybe just in a Forever loop. So a play bar wouldn't make any sense.
Perhaps it might be possible to have one for projects that do run for a fixed length of time (like a video) but that would mean that they would have to be treated specially - not only would the play bar have to appear, but something would have to go through the project and try and compute the run time. For these reasons, I'd say it's not likely to be added as a feature in the near future.

What about the scratch project sensing to see if it has a fixed length, and if it is, showing the bar? But I understand the problems and scripting it needs.

You could share private info online with nobody else finding out where you live. Also, i would like to see it where you have the option to get messages from forums when someone quotes you.
A lot of people thought of that and it was denied every single time. Did you read the topic "READ THIS BEFORE SUGGESTING ANYTHING?".
