G: 5000 will be totally more advanced than my current G: 4000 game, but I need more ideas to add to the list.
Any features you want to add? Please do! Also, please ask questions! I need many ideas for this!
Scrapped Features From Prequels:
-Old Advisor
-Isometric Graphics
New features:
-Brand New Menu
-Many Advisers to Choose from Different Departments
-Trimetric Graphics
-Three Density Types
-Possibly a Drive Mode and Disaster Mode (depending on how well the clones work, but it's far more likely now!)
-Researchable Buildings
-9 Buildings Per Category (There will be 7 categories)
-63 Building Options and 19 Landscape Options (I'll try to reach it, but I'll need improvements to my current list:)

A news feed talking about the current news in your city?
that's what your advisers are for, but I suppose it might work having both. I just don't want to cramp too much onto a single screen, especially with the low resolution scratch (and probably Scratch 2.0) offers.

In scratch 2.0, we will be switching to vector graphics, so you could shrink something or enlarge it repeatedly and it would have the same graphic quality as the original. This means you could shrink things, and make it for performance mode, allowing you more space for things you want on screen. Anyway, as for a suggesion, I would suggest compllicating it a bit more, making pollution adversely affect health and possibly intelligence too, same with fire and crime rates.

that would be cool! but I'll probably have to stop with the simple numbers and switch to a complicated system which calculates pollution and health more effectively, and instead of pollution being a global factor it only effects the surrounding areas, therefore industry would be with the utilities, council estates between the industry and the commerce, and residential after the commercial areas.

I'm sure you can do it! Good luck!

What I'll have to do is, on the map screen it will show the radii of the buildings. I'll have the map 'on' but invisible to the player, so that the program is always working out whether a building is touching the radii clone or not, otherwise it's goanna require a LOT of maths!
