subscribe

I think you should be abled to subscribe to forum posts, users, gallerys, etc...
If you subscibe to a post, you get a notification, if someone answeres it.
If you subscribe to a user, you get a notification if he creates a project (or maybe if he posts something to the forums?)
If you subscribe to a gallery, you get a notification if there is a new project.
what do you think?

Re: subscribe

Good idea! Support! There is a way to do this - friend someone and their newest project will appear in a special row on the front page for you alone - but this is better!

Who would win, SOPA or PIPA?

Re: subscribe

I support - it would be very useful seeing as I always have to try and find everything after I go off

You can already suscribe to a user. Just look at the orange button in the upper-right corner of their projects page and you'll see a suscribe button.

About the other suscribe buttons, I don't support because you could always just look at the gallery or topic to know if something has new been added.

Re: subscribe

I knew these subscribe buttons, but if you subscribe with them, you don't get a notification in scratch...

Re: subscribe

I don't support, as they will only add lag to the website and get very annoying when I've a flood of messages. Also, if you've 200+ friends, and each of them make a project a day, just imagine the number of notifications and lag.  sad

Re: subscribe

Friending is exactly the same as subscribe. It'll be renamed in 2.0.
