Step by Step mode

Hi All,

Another suggestion. A "Step by step" mode which when ativated will runn each instruction with a pause between each one.

My rationale for this is two fold. Firstly it would help debugging, but also for a lot of introductory stuff it can be used to show progress. For example, I use a sequence of lessons to teach computer science concepts to 11-13 years olds based on solving mazes using scripts. The first attempt is simply using the right sequence of motion and turn commands. However when they runthe script the cat seems to "teleport" to where they have told it to go to. I get aroud this by getting them to put a wait between each command, but a step by step mode would alleviate this

Re: Step by Step mode

There is a mode like this, called Single Stepping. Activate it by going to Edit --> Set Single Stepping --> Flash Blocks (slow) or Flash Blocks (fast).  smile

Re: Step by Step mode

I can't believe I didn't see this.... I even went looking for it, and lets face it, the scratch menu's are not large and complicated making it easy for something to hide!

Thanks for pointing the obvious out...  It's early in the morning over here.. my only excuse!
