I had all but forsaken DC recently, to be honest. We need to make the change back to the old ways. This was an experiment; and a failed one at that. Unfortunately I have little time to actually go on the server, so we need some moderators as well. This weekend I am occupied by Ludum Dare, and next week I will be on a school field trip to a camp in Wisconsin. I really haven't been motivated at all to play Minecraft, and I apologize for letting the server go apart like this.

What are your thoughts on this? It'd obviously mean getting a new map, but the old one will go up for download and I might even be able to get Dynmap working. It'd also mean no Iconomy, because chestshop can already be used to safely store items. But we'll go back to the normal DC, just without the 10 second lag and buggy plugins.

I guess it's fine by me... I did sorta like the old Factions better.

There should be. Otherwise, a faction leader could just get bored, think, "Let's attack a random faction", and there goes a carefully constructed base, precios itms, and such. All on the random whims of some faction. I don't think that would be a step up from the current situation.
