Game Ideas?
I want to dip a little more into programming and a little less into graphics. So, does anyone have ideas for a fairly-advanced game that I could make?

You could try Bejeweled, but that may be too advanced. You could also try making an original platformer, those seem to be very popular.

Why bad graphics? 
Anyway, HumHum, I recommend you make a strategy game. Maybe a virtual stock market or a game of Poker? Or maybe something original? Don't try making something like Chess, though; AIs for those kinds of games may prove to be too complex.

Here are my ideas:
1). A crossword puzzle generator.
2). A platformer with a twist.
3). Angry Birds.
4). A business game. Maybe something like this.
5). A x and y scrolling car racing game.

Cool, thanks! I'm making a music maker right now, but after, I'll either make a scrolling platformer or a strategy game (like what ErnieParke or BirdByte said).
But I'll consider everything!
P.S. Congrats on the feature! I remember when my first game was...

Platformers and strategy games seem to get quite a few views and are somewhat difficult to make, so I think that you made a good choice. :)
