I'd hate (love) to see what thepiratebay looks like once they stop selling Windows 7.Lololol. The OS Improvement Bay.
To be honest the XP theme on your Mac (what theme is that, btw) looks better than Win7. As far as computers go, can't wait for the september Apple announcement. MacBook
Pro 13 (maybe), iPhone 5 (not really important to me, I would never really use a cell phone and it would just mean another device to code for if it has a 16:9 screen and I got a Mac) and iOS 6.
More like, 'Get Windows 7 here to replace your windows 8 bay'
Yea, 13" rMBP would be awesome. I only recently got a chance to try out the 15" one and the screen is just awesome. It's brighter and has better contrast even than the normal MBP display which is definitely saying something. So vibrant.
Apparently the iPhone 5 will have a taller display.
The XP theme is called Zune, and it came default with XP professional. It didn't come with XP home edition, so I'm assuming you'd have to have pro to use it, but you can try looking for it online. Yea, it is a nice theme. Windows 7 isn't the prettiest OS either

Zune doesn't come with XP Professional, it came with the Tablet edition. It's also available for free download on Microsoft's site. And yeah, it does look better than Windows 7. I use a non-Microsoft skin though.

That's interesting. It came preinstalled on my XP
Which skin would that be?

Not bad, though the windows look lxde-ish. Especially the buttons.

Often, but not always.

And I think you mean graphic design? Because graphical user interface is basically just the layout of the OS itself

I think he means it's used for its layout, but I'm not really sure.

Not sure, that could be it
So uh, you can make a statement about PCs or Macs so we can get the conversation started again

It is, I'll give you that. Especially for new users. When someone new comes to Mac OSX with not much technical ability, they launch apps from the dock, then after a while, they realise that they can drag apps to and from the dock, as well as add a shortcut to the /Applications folder to launch all applications from. Other than that though, it's more a cumbersome than anything else.

I don't really like the dock. Reminds me too much of the Windows 7 taskbar. Anything with large icons seems dumb to me.
Offline
What I find dumb is the use of huge icons on 'Ok' and 'cancel' buttons and menu items in Linux

BTW, the win task bar copied the dock, but it is not a good a the dock.
Offline
Uh, no? The dock originates from Nextstep and Openstep upon which OS X is based. The taskbar isn't that similar, either.

Sorry, I meant the win 7 taskbar. It was a typo.

I have not had a single software-related crash in Windows 7.

Ah, okay. It kinda does, but I definitely prefer its layout over the dock's.

I hate the right click context menus on the win7 task bar.
