Pbones (plastic trombones)

Anybody ever played one? I did today while practicing trombone. They actually sound AMAZING, and they're only $160!

Re: Pbones (plastic trombones)

Plastic Trombones aren't good.

They make a sound but they won't provide proper musical quality for serious performance.

Also avoid anything a different color than brass, or too cheap to be true.

Not for serious performance, of course not. If you use a real mouthpiece and get rid of their piece of crud, it's much better.

I wouldn't use a pbone in a school band. To practice, sure, but for the best sound I'd recommend a trombone, unless your band can't afford however many trombones it needs.
