Hi Fever820 and welcome to Scratch!
A couple of pointers on Scratch:
1. Every block has Help associated with it...just right-click on it and select Help.
2. Find projects that do things you are interested in and Download them for study...you can learn a lot very fast by looking at examples!
3. Scratchers are a helpful bunch! If you have questions, you can post them to the Forums, or put a comment on a project.
4. There's a lot of information here in the Forums too...take a look at the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section and see what you can learn.
Good luck

I second Paddle2See's advice. You can learn alot from projects about things you are interested in. Who knows, it might get featured!
Anyway, welcome to the ever-growing Scratch community and if you ever need help you can come ask me. I'll be around.
if you want a custom made signature come to Joeisawesome Graphix, Inc. in the inspiration and more category. Highlate these last two lines.
