New mob is likely to be the long-awaited pigman. If it's really Herobrine, I don't think I'll ever play Singleplayer again. Or use any mode besides Peaceful. 

No, it's a lie. Before, that site said that Herobrine was coming in 1.3, and on the MC wiki it says that the site is NOT made by Mojang.

Dying armour will be useful for CTF matches and stuff. :] Also allows you to wear normal looking clothes, with lots of protection.

The texture pack isn't updated for 1.3, so it's using old textures for the Creative menu.

There may have been a snapshot with emerald blocks, and not creative interface and they haven't updated since then. Or maybe they just forgot to update that... ?
