Oh, windows xp professional well, anyways i just got to my grandmas house
when gf clicked repeat until <(timer) > [10]> go to [mouse-pointer v] end think [Scripts in your posts!] for (3) secstesting if this works XD

Yeah, reinstall Scratch, that's a sure-fire way of fixing it.
Unless your projects themselves are corrupted. Have you installed any Scratch Modifications (BYOB, Panther, Enchanting, Bingo)? If so, you should know that saving a project with one of these will make the project unusable in Scratch.

Try re-installing Scratch, this has happened to me before. I reinstalled, and it worked afterward and should work for you too.
Also, not to be rude, but I highly dislike it when people TYPE LIKE THIS.

I think I had this, so I think I can help. Are you trying to open a project or open the actual scratch application? If it's what I had, open scratch by clicking on the app, then clicking on a project you want to open. Same with downloads. Always open scratch by the app, never open it from a project.
