Hi,
I have began looking at using Scratch for pupils in some of my classes, however I am unable to load Scratch onto each of the school computers, due to not having access rights.
Is there any way possible that Scratch can be installed and run off a portable usb drive?
Thanks
David

Hi mrcarty,
I'm having the same problem at the university I'm lecturing at.
if you're using Windows you can download the files only version from the download page (http://scratch.mit.edu/download), extract it to a portable drive and run Scratch from there without any restrictions other than the missing registry for *.sb and *.sprite files (of course you can open Scratch projects and Scratch sprites using the 'open' dialog, or - even better - by just dragging and dropping them into Scratch).
